The Ross Financial Group (RFG) has provided family office services in downtown Los Angeles since 2004. We moved our offices to Long Beach in 2020.
In 2008, we concluded that traditional "active" investing no longer worked well enough to meet our clients' needs. We formed an independent Registered Investment Advisory focused solely on "passive/index" investing.
All of our clients switched their active investing approach to a passive asset allocation model we designed, called the Tides Portfolio.
The Tides Portfolio has three investment goals, net all fees and commissions:
- At least the return of the market during all cycles
- Zero realized loss during Bear cycles
- An average annual return of at least 7% during any 10-year period
